Rohtas man held in Ludhiana for announcing a reward of Rs 25 lakh for killing Bihar CM

SASARAM/ PATNA: At the request of Rohtas Police, Ludhiana (Punjab) Police on Tuesday arrested a man for announcing a reward on Rs 25 lakh on his Facebook page for murdering Bihar CM Nitish Kumar.
The man identified as Dharmendra Kumar Pandey is a native of Tora village under Dinara police station in Rohtas district. He was currently living in Ludhiana district alongwith his parents.
Bikramganj DySP Raj Kumar told TOI that Dharmendra was currently staying in Ludhiana where his father Ram Surat Pandey is a Sanskrit teacher in a private school.

DySP said Dinara police have registered an FIR against Dharmendra Pandey for making a highly objectionable Facebook post involving Bihar CM.
DySP quoting the FIR said, Dharmendra, in his Facebook post, announced a reward of Rs 25 lakh to a person who would murder Bihar CM.
He said, Ludhiana police arrested the man at the request of Rohtas police and a team of Dinara police would soon go to Ludhiana to bring the man Dinara police station for his questioning. The man has currently been kept at Haibowal police station in Ludhiana district, the DySP said.
