Amid the coronavirus crisis, the Delhi Police have issued a stern warning on social media that it would be monitoring WhatsApp groups and social media platforms to check the spread of fake news. DCP South East Delhi tweeted, "Please Note: Strict legal action will be taken against any attempt to spread rumours on social media in the guise of #AprilFoolsDay."
