As our battle to manage the coronavirus pandemic continues, we’d like to inform you that all of Dynasil’s manufacturing facilities remain active. Our work supplying components to the U.S. government and medical supply companies has designated our operations “essential” At the current time, each of our business units – Dynasil Fused Silica, EMF, Hilger Crystals, Optometrics, and RMD – are running at normal capacity and we are on track to meet existing demand and delivery schedules.
Our management staff are meeting frequently to review our production scheduling, raw material supply logistics, personnel cross training records, and stand prepared to implement contingency and risk mitigation plans as necessary. These efforts have been well-supported by our ISO 9001:2015 compliance practices.
Precautions to protect and maintain the health and wellness of our workforce have been implemented by eliminating all non-essential travel and non-essential visits to our facilities, being diligent with personal hygiene, and implementing social distancing practices in line with government guidelines. We are also encouraging employees to work from home, if and when possible. We appreciate your patience with any possible delay this may cause in communicating with you during this period.
We continue to monitor the situation and will do our best to proactively inform you if anything changes. And, as always, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
