Mumbai-born Seerat Kapoor is one among the few bombshells who have managed to strike the right chord with Telugu viewers’ courtesy her solid emoting skills, arresting looks, striking figure and mesmerising screen-presence. After a two-year gap since her last film ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’, she is making a comeback to Tollywood in 2020 with two films; Krishna and His Leela and Maa Vintha Gaadha Vinuma.

Besides stealing the show with her on-screen performances and captivating looks, Seerat Kapoor is one among the few fashionistas in regional cinema. Prior to her acting debut in Run Raja Run, the 27-year-old worked as an assistant choreographer for Ranbir Kapoor’s Rockstar and enjoyed a fruitful stint in modelling. Seerat Kapoor was born into a typical middle-class household. While her father, the late Vineet Kumar was an hotelier, mother Neena Sihota was an Air hostess. Upon completion of her pre-university course, she got subsequently enrolled for a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication but quit it later due to scheduling conflicts with other commitments. At just 15 years, Seerat joined Bollywood choreographer Ashley Logo’s dance classes as a student and within one year, became a full-time dance instructor at the academy. During her journey, she happened to assist Ashley Logo for Ranbir Kapoor’s Rockstar in 2011.

Jointly bankrolled by Suresh Productions and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, Krishna and His Leela is presented by Rana Daggubati and directed by Ravikanth Perepu of Kshanam fame. Besides this rom-com, Seerat Kapoor is playing a typical, no-nonsense Andhra girl in Maa Vintha Gaadha Vinuma. Directed by Aditya Mandala, the film stars Siddu Jonnalagadda as the protagonist and surprisingly, he is the main lead in Krishna and His Leela too.
