LAHORE: Former first class cricketer and former manager Lahore region Tahir Shah, who although suffering from multiple aliments, like many others has also initiated his social work helping the destitute of his area who are in misery due to the lockdown caused by corona virus pandemic.
In a message, Tahir has appealed to the Pakistan Cricket Board to also start a fund to help out the daily wagers who are unable to meet ends. He also appealed to the national team cricketers to keep a close eye in your surroundings and help the needy people who did not have any savior.
“The coronavirus is dangerous, but hunger is more dangerous. That’s what we need to work together to not only fight the virus but also help the people in need,” he added.“If you ask about masks and sanitisers, people will talk about food, which is their top need.”
