NAGPUR:
Nagpur Municipal Corporation (
NMC) has reportedly given permission for reopening of
Janata Hospital, Jaripatka, Dhande's Panorama MRI Centre, Shankar Nagar, and Rainbow Medinova Diagnostic Centre at Ramdaspeth. All three were shut down for sanitization after two patients who visited here were found Covid-19 positive later.
Dr Shirish Dhande told TOI, "NMC allowed reopening of two diagnostic centres.
They started services from Friday. NMC did sanitization before closing down. We are also doing the same every day. A technologist and helper of Panorama MRI Centre who came in contact with patient has tested negative and is under quarantine," he said.
Charitable Trust Janata Mandal, which runs 70-bed Janata Hospital, in a press release said, "All services of hospital will begin from Saturday morning. We have done extra sanitization on Friday. Of total 150 staff, 31 were exposed to the patient. All were tested and found negative. Still, all are in institutional quarantine," Mandal said.
This hospital is considered lifeline for Jaripatka and adjoining areas.
