Sushmita Sen is all set to make her digital debut and her comeback to acting after an entire decade. She was last seen in films like Dulha Mil Gaya and No Problem in 2010.
The web series tentatively called Arya is likely to be helmed by ad filmmaker Ram Madhvani. A source informs, “Madhvani is one of the best talents we have. We saw what he did with a film like Neerja. He has been pretty unlucky at times his film 'Taalisman' starring Amitabh Bachchan for producer Vinod Chopra never took off after even having a teaser put out years ago. He was also planning a web series called Bodhidharma akin to a Shaolin Temple kind of concept, which could not take off due to script issues. But he was already in talks with Sushmita for this web series for a while and that will now mount the floors when things settle down and are good enough to shoot.”
Madhvani had made a very interesting feature film called 'Let’s Talk' in 2002 with Boman Irani, which premiered at the Locarno Film Festival. The maker has won several awards at the Cannes Lions and has only made 'Neerja' as his mainstream Bollywood film till date.
Sushmita, in the meantime, has been making waves on social media with her kids and her boyfriend Rohman Shawl.
