'Airtel Thanks App' makes staying indoors a little easier
The world today is faced with a previously unknown disease, COVID-19. The new disease is highly contagious and spreads through contact or by coming in close vicinity of an infected individual. So, the best thing you can do right now to slow down the spread and keep yourself, as well as those close to you safe, is to practice social distancing and self-quarantine.This is why the country has been put under lockdown.
This means you won’t be going out to meet with friends, attending any social gatherings or even ordering food online if it could be avoided. We must be particularly watchful for children and the elderly, as they are more prone to the virus due to weaker immune system.
But social distancing doesn’t have to be boring. You can always stay connected with your loved ones over the internet or phone calls. You can binge watch all the shows you wanted to and even work from home. In fact, at times like this, it becomes even more important for us to stay in touch with our loved ones, so we know they are doing well and keeping safe. But this leads to the next problem – service recharges. While a lot of us are used to recharging mobile phones online, many still rely on stores to recharge DTH or data cards.
Keeping this in mind, Airtel has made recharging all its services distance-friendly to encourage safe social distancing and in hopes to ease your self-quarantining efforts. The Airtel Thanks App allows you to manage as well as recharge all your Airtel connections without having to step out of your home. This includes, prepaid plan, DTH connection, data card, post-paid bills etc. Here’s how you can do it

Airtel Online Recharge

To recharge on the Airtel Thanks App, follow these easy steps:
Step 1: Install the Airtel Thanks App
Step 2: Click on the ‘Recharge’ tab. Pick the service – mobile, internet, DTH – that you want to recharge.
Step 3: Enter your registered mobile number or DTH account number
Step 4: Select your preferred pack
Step 5: Pay online with your debit or credit card, UPI account, or Amazon pay account
COVID recharge.

And you’re done! It’s really that simple, and you don’t have to go to a store to recharge or pay your bills. Airtel Thanks app also lets you make other transactions securely from your phone such as paying electricity and water bills, transferring money to someone etc. This is Airtel’s bid to make the lockdown easier for you. You can do the same for someone else who cannot do it themselves, such as your house help, watchman or even an elderly in the nerighbourhood. Stay safe. Stay connected.
