In his Facebook post, the collector said the hospital is a gift from chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan and revenue minister E Chandrasekharan.
Tata Group would develop this facility using its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund but the finer details are yet to be formulated, he said.
The structure would be built using prefabricated construction technology. The collector also sought the support of the local civil contractors to help level the 15 acres of land identified for this purpose.
