67 Total Deaths, 1,472 Positive COVID-19 Cases In Oklahoma

Sixteen more Oklahomans have died due to COVID-19, increasing the state's death toll to 67. The deaths reported Tuesday include:

  • Six in Tulsa County: a male in the 18-35 age group, a female in 50-64 age group, and three females and a male older than 65.
  • Two in Osage County, a female in the 50-64 age group and a male older than 65.
  • One in Adair County, a female older than 65.
  • One in Cherokee County, a female older than 65.
  • One in Cleveland County, a female older than 65.
  • One in Creek County, a male older than 65.
  • One in Kay County, a female older than 65
  • One in Mayes County, a male older than 65.
  • One in Wagoner County, a female older than 65.
  • One in Washington County, a male older than 65.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health confirmed Tuesday that positive cases of the coronavirus in the state now stand at 1,472, an increase of 145 cases from Monday. That's a ten percent increase in total cases.

61 of Oklahoma's 77 counties are reporting positive cases of COVID-19. Oklahoma County has the most number of cases with 303. Tulsa County has 273, Cleveland County has 203, Wagoner County has 55, Creek County has 47, Washington County has 43 and Comanche County has 42.

Health officials released a report Monday afternoon, stating 13,148 COVID-19 tests have been administered in Oklahoma between public and private labs. 11,640 of those came back as negative.
