Amitabh Bachchan shared a video in which he is seen reciting his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan's poem on hope and strength.
When the entire world is sad and fighting coronavirus, Amitabh Bachchan is deriving hope and strength from his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan's Hindi poem Hai Andheri Raat Par Diya Jalana Kab Mana Hai. The actor shared a video in which he is seen reciting the poem in his father's style.
Sharing the video, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, "I reminisce my father and his poem, which expresses hope and strength. The singing is exactly how Babu ji recited it at Kavi Sammelans, which I attended with him (sic)."

Big B has been working hard towards creating awareness around the novel coronavirus. The actor has been part of several campaigns encouraging people to stay at home and take measures to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.
On Tuesday, he appeared in a short film by director Prasoon Pandey. The film features some of the biggest names from all the film industries of India. From Rajinikanth and Mohanlal to Mammootty and Prosenjit Chatterjee, the song features stars from regional film industries. Priyanka Chopra, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh also appear in the film. It was shot separately at the actors' homes and then edited to make one film.

Before this short film, Amitabh Bachchan also appeared in a video in which Bollywood celebs were seen urging their fans to stay home and practise measures instructed by the government to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.

The novel coronavirus has claimed more than 82,000 deaths across the globe with more than 14 lakh cases. In India, around 5,200 people have been tested positive for Covid-19, while 149 people have lost their lives to the virus.
