Amazon is offering same day delivery on Morrison's shopping free to people in Liverpool.
Many shoppers in Merseyside are relying on delivery from major supermarkets as they self isolate in their homes and one Amazon service is offering same day delivery free with a minimum spend of £15.
The online retail giant says delivery slots are still being snapped up quickly but users of its Amazon Prime Now service will be able to book slots as they are released throughout the day.
Amazon says: "Availability of delivery slots is limited. New slots are opened throughout the day, up to 24 hours in advance."
The service includes groceries, alcohol and medicines from Morrisons and other retailers and is available for users of Amazon Prime. Those who do not have Amazon Prime can sign up for a free trial for 30 days.
Morrisons is selling groceries on the Amazon Prime Now service but it also includes Easter Eggs.
Liverpool is one of the key cities where Morrison's same day deliveries are available and the minimum spend has been reduced to £15, down from £40, to access the free delivery option. Other cities include Birmingham & Coventry, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester,Newcastle, Portsmouth and Sheffield.
The deal was spotted by one eagle-eyed HotUKDeals user, who posted about it on the consumer championing forum.
They wrote: "Amazon have removed all shipping costs for Amazon Prime Now and Morrisons 2 hour deliveries. It is very difficult to get a slot as with everywhere but may be handy for those who don't want to make a £40+ shop. Prices are very competitive on here as well."
