Sanitation workers felicitated in Secunderabad Cantonment

SECUNDERABAD: More than 40 sanitation staffers, working at Picket in Secunderabad Cantonment, were felicitated for their services during the Covid-19 pandemic by residents on Wednesday.
Some youngsters distributed a pair of clothes and saris to the workers, who sweep city roads and clean the drainage network. Each worker was also given Rs 500 for their medical and other expenses.The group said it will also distribute gloves and masks to the workers in a couple of days.
