Amid prevalent chaos and uncertainty over access to the essential services and commodities during the lockdown, we bring you the latest updates from your city.
*Update at 6.48pm: The Pune district administration has given Rs 2.26 crore to the Pune Cantonment Board (PCB) to set up 10 bed capacity Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to treat Covid - 19 patients.

* Many housing societies have barred entry to outsiders.
* Despite no official order, local police have imposed curbs on grocery stores and vegetable sales in on-sealed areas, telling them to shut shop by 12 noon.
* No such curbs have been imposed on medical shops.
* Police and Pune Municipal Corporation have started moving residents of small slum pockets to shelter homes across the city
* Vegetable supplies are likely to be affected at Gultekdi and Mahatma Phule Mandai wholesale markets as traders decide to stay shut from tomorrow. Two other APMC markets have already decided to close.
* Farmers are being allowed to sell produce, but through their connections with housing societies and vendors
* Grocery shops across Pune may start shutting from 12 noon as the local retailers’ association has decided to protect its members
* The association does not include large chains like Big Bazaar or D-Mart
