1 more death in Telangana takes toll to 12; 2 die in Andhra Pradesh

A fresh death and 18 new cases of Covid-19 infections were reported in Telangana on Thursday, taking the total positive cases in the state to 471. The death toll due to the pandemic rose to 12.
A A 54-year-old woman from Karwan in the Old City died while being under treatment. Health authorities said they were slightly relieved that for the first time in one week, the state registered less than 20 positive cases.

In the neighbouring Andhra Pradesh, two more Covid-19 deaths were reported taking the toll to six so far, while 15 new cases were also reported during the day, making it an aggregate of 363.
