Mayor Bonthu Rammohan tweeted that he was instructed by KTR to make use of this lockdown and to complete all major works involving constructions and repair.

KTR himself took active interest in these projects and visited a couple of places in the city where maintenance and construction work is being conducted. The authorities are also taking special measures to ensure the safety of the workers. They have been given appropriate protective gear and are maintaining distance even while working. City commuters will be greeted with better roads and less potholes once they have started commuting again.
