The Banaras Hindu University has postponed its entrance examination for the admission to different UG and PG courses in the academic session 2020-21.

VARANASI: The Banaras Hindu University has postponed its entrance examination for the admission to different UG and PG courses in the academic session 2020-21.
According to BHU spokesperson Rajesh Singh, in the light of the notification issued by the government on extension of lockdown period up to May 3, the UET/PET 2020 scheduled on April 26 and May 10 have been postponed.
Fresh dates for the entrance tests would be announced later.
Besides, the SET 2020 entrance test scheduled between May 1 to 6 have also been postponed. Applicants are advised to visit the university's entrance test portal regularly for updates.
The entrance exams were earlier scheduled to be conducted in 202 cities across the country. The BHU received a around 5.25 lakh application forms for about 12,500 seats.
