Covid-19 lockdown: Cops force pregnant lady to walk to hospital in Sitapur

In a shocking case from UP's Sitapur, police officials forced a pregnant woman to walk to the hospital as lockdown was in force. The pregnant lady, who is on a rickshaw, was stopped and was asked to walk to the hospital. Lockdown is in force across the country since 25 March in order to contain and minimise the spread of the deadly coronavirus. In India, the death toll due to covid-19 rose to over 600 whereas the number of cases increased to 18985, as per union health ministry data.
