Child marriage prevented in Bagalkot
Childline (1098) prevented the marriage of a 16-year-old girl at Malali village in Bagalkot district on Sunday. Its staff educated the girl’s parents on the ill effects of child marriage and convinced them to sign an agreement to not marry off their daughter till she turns a major.
