Share market update: APL Apollo Tubes, Capri Global among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 970.33 points up at 33690.49 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of SE Power (up 19.66 per cent), Navkar Corporation Ltd. (up 19.39 per cent), Cybermate Info (up 18.75 per cent), APL Apollo Tubes (up 16.42 per cent), Capri Global (up 15.86 per cent), Prime Sec (up 15.49 per cent), Nahar Spinning (up 15.24 per cent), Sutlej Textiles (up 13.38 per cent), Tata Motors (up 12.80 per cent) and Media Matrix (up 12.15 per cent) were among the top performers.

The Nifty 50 index was trading 283.40 points up at 9836.75.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 47 shares were trading in the green, while 3 were in the red.
