BISMARCK -- A $1 million winning Powerball ticket was sold in New Town, N.D., for Wednesday night’s drawing, officials announced Thursday, April 30.

The winning ticket matched five white balls with the numbers 2, 20, 49, 61, 67 and the Powerball was 20. The Power Play multiplier was 2.

The ticket was sold at Jason’s Super Foods, 975 Eagle Drive, in New Town. The store will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning Powerball ticket, North Dakota Lottery officials said. New Town is in Mountrail County, within the Fort Berthold Reservation.

The ticket was the only Match 5 Powerball winner in the 48 states that sell Powerball, said Randy Miller, director of the North Dakota Lottery, in a press release.

Winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. Prizes over $599 must be claimed at the North Dakota Lottery in Bismarck, but because the Lottery office is currently closed to the public, the winner(s) will need to contact the lottery by telephone to receive instructions and make arrangements to claim their prize. The North Dakota Lottery can be reached at (701) 328-1574.
