Kanyakumari sexual predator's accomplice arrested

KANYAKUMARI: The Kanyakumari district police on Wednesday arrested a 19-year-old youth who was the accomplice of sexual predator Kasi alias Suji, 26.
Kasi was arrested by the police last week for sexually exploiting girls and women. Kasi, who took explicit pictures and videos of the girls and women, blackmailed his victims and extorted money from them.
On Monday, a court granted the police three days custody of Kasi for quizzing.This resulted in the arrest of his accomplice Desan Jino, 19, of Observatory Street in Nagercoil.
Kanyakumari district superintendent of police N Shreenath said Jino had uploaded and circulated obscene pictures and videos on behalf of Kasi.
He has been remanded in judicial custody.
