UP: Roadways buses start operation in green zone districts

LUCKNOW: UPSRTC started operation of roadways buses from Wednesday, May 6, in green zone districts. As many as 76 buses were operated in 11 districts and ferried about 1,176 passengers on the first day of operation of roadways buses since lockdown in March.
These were all ordinary buses. Maximum 20 buses were operated in Lakhimpur Gola followed by 16 in Fatehpur, 11 in Hamirpur and 10 in Akbarpur.
Maximum 356 passengers boarded buses in Hamirpur. Other districts where roadways buses are available to passengers are Chitrakoot, Chandauli, Farrukhabad, Lalitpur, Ballia, Sonbhadra and Shahjahanpur.
