According to plans so far, as many as 31,224 people will return to Bengal, 17,211 among them from Hyderabad alone.
Two trains from Vellore have been allocated to ferry back patients and their relatives. One will arrive in Howrah and the other in Kharagpur. The trains will leave Vellore on Monday and reach Bengal on Tuesday. Government sources said the trains were expected to bring home 2,418 people.

A special train has been organised from Hyderabad to take migrant workers back to Malda. Two more trains have been arranged to bring people home to Bandel and Durgapur from Punjab. One train will leave Punjab on Sunday and reach Bandel on Monday. The other will start for Durgapur on Monday. This train will bring back 2,613 passengers.
