Uttar Pradesh: Three migrant workers killed as truck carrying them overturns in Mahoba

LUCKNOW: Three migrant labourers were killed after a truck carrying them overturned in Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh on Monday night. The accident took place under the limits of the Panwadi police station on the Jhansi-Mirzapur highway's Mahoba turn.
Deputy inspector general of police, Chitrkoot Dham Range, Deepak Kumar who was also present on the spot confirmed TOI about the deaths.Kumar also said that 27 injured were admitted at district hospital. "The Tyre of the truck burst as a result of which it overturned," he said.
Police personnel from multiple police stations in the district have been rushed to the site to lend a hand with the emergency response. The labourers belonged to Mahoba and were coming from Delhi.
