1. Dine India

Dine India claims to be the premier south-east Asian restaurant in Bromsgrove - and clearly people agree. It received an average of five stars out of more than 900 reviews.

The restaurant promises to serve the best Bangladeshi and southern Asian food. They say their menu, which is influenced by thousands of years of Asian culture, will take you "on a culinary journey through south central Asia, whilst always staying true to its origins of the Indian sub-continent".

One reviewer said: "We live locally to Dine India and often order takeaways. We have been coming here for years and the food is amazing! We visited on Valentine's night and couldn’t have asked for more. Amazing food, drink and service."

Dine India says their management team has more than a decade of experience in running successful restaurants in Solihull and Birmingham. Their chefs learnt their skills in their native Bangladesh.

2. Ellenden's Farmhouse Kitchen

The farmhouse kitchen in Harvington offers a range of home-cooked meals freshly prepared by their chef from local and homegrown ingredients.

The lunch menu is supplemented by a specials board. On Sundays there is in addition a choice of roasts, always including beef reared on their own farm in Coughton. A range of baguettes are available to eat in or takeaway.

Breakfasts are a firm favourite with people with one reviewer posting: "Just got back from Ellenden Farm Shop at Harvington. The breakfast was amazing. Excellent quality ingredients, cooked perfectly. Fantastic pork baguette - the best ever!"

3. Pundits Fusion

Pundits Fusion, in Upton upon Severn, serves Indian, Balti, Bangladeshi, Asian, and Fusion meals.

The business has been part of the community for many years. The food is cooked in an open kitchen and they pride themselves on preparing all of their dishes using fresh herbs and spices - not powders - with no artificial colourings or preservatives.

A reviewer, who posted during lockdown, said: "So glad that this place is still open during this hard time. I came in for a takeaway after work and was not disappointed my all time favourite Indian with a lovely variety of choices and lovely staff. If you are feeling a bit depressed with all that is going on this place and the food will definitely give you something to smile about. Well done Pundits."

4. The Everest Eatery

The Everest Eatery in Malvern serves Nepalese and Indian cuisine. Diners can eat in or order a delivery.

Award-winning chef Khadka Bahadur Ale has more than 20 years experience of working in restaurants all over the world. The restaurant aims to bring the best Nepalese and Indian cuisine to the region with a modern twist on traditional methods.

One five star reviewer posted: "We regularly order food from The Everest Eatery and are never disappointed! The quality is excellent and the staff are always friendly. We happily travel out of our way to get our takeaway from here every time."

Pasha Everest in St Johns, Worcester, is a firm favourite with locals who enjoy its Indian and Nepalese meals.

Their food is prepared by chefs who have worked in restaurants and hotels around the world over the last 20 years.

They say: "There is misconception on curries and Asian food that these dishes are consumed with overly spices. However, spices for our understanding is various flavours. Thrishna, a Bangladeshi and Indian restaurant in Upton upon Severn, is not only ranked as one of the best takeaways in Worcestershire, but one of the best in the UK by the Good Food Awards.

The restaurant prides itself in its quality authentic food. It won the award in 2014 for its delicious dishes.

Thrishna Cuisine is a culinary style originating in Bengal where the food preparation and cooking with spices goes back more than 5,000 years.

Under the heading 'Game changing' a TripAdvisor reviewer said: "Keeping it short and sweet - the curry here is incredible. On top of that the service is so friendly you feel welcome and looked after throughout. Highly recommended."

The Buongiorno in Evesham, perhaps unsurprisingly, serves Italian food.

Diners, who can eat-in or takeaway, can enjoy Italian classics such as lasagne, cannelloni, pizzas and paninis along with a range of fresh cakes and desserts homemade using ingredients imported from Italy.

A local reviewer posted: "The food is ALWAYS excellent, fresh and tasty, the staff are very friendly and professional. Beautiful, simple menu, authentic Italian flavours, a real find."

8. Francini Cafe De Colombia

Francini's is an authentic Colombian café that brings the essence and flavour of Colombian culture and coffee to its customers in Worcester.

Along with coffees and cakes customers can also buy a range of coffee beans from mellow to strong non-bitter. You can even make your own wraps and pizzas.

9. Lizzies Farm and Tearoom

Lizzies Tearoom at Chadwich Manor Farm in Bromsgrove serves a range of cakes and meals from their farm location. And once you've enjoyed your cuppa in a delightful setting and looked at the animals, you can admire a collection of pottery by owner Liz Monk.

One of many five star reviews on TripAdvisor said: "A very conveniently situated tea room and farm/gift shop. Lovely setting in the grounds of the farm. The locally sourced food is great as is the staff with nothing too much trouble."

10. The Old Village Store

The Old Village Store - now known as Gil's - in Wolverley is a traditional country tea room, offering quality food, cakes, drinks and ice cream.

And, true to its name, it also sells local milk, freshly baked bread and daily newspapers. Dogs are always welcome and all get a sausage!

They say: "Our ethos, is simple, fresh, quality product and it's working. We've given the place a fantastic makeover, put together a superb team, revamped the menu and built up an amazing reputation. Come and find us, you'll receive a warm welcome, you'll have excellent food and you'll get great service. We love what we do and look forward to meeting you."

And people certainly agree dubbing it a "hidden gem" and "delicious". A reviewer posted: "Deliciously different sandwiches homemade cakes and scones and all the tea we could drink. Service was excellent and we will be back again soon. A very friendly welcome and great value for money. Well worth a visit."
