Four test positive for Covid in Ghaziabad, count now 191

GHAZIABAD: Four persons from Ghaziabad tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday, said officials. Two of them, who tested positive in Delhi, are undergoing treatment, said officials, adding that chances are that these cases would be added to the national capital’s number of positive cases.
The number in Ghaziabad, with these two fresh cases, now stands at 191.
A patient from Moreta, who tested positive, was admitted to a hospital on Monday, said health officials, adding that five of his family members have been quarantined at Ideal Institute.
A woman from Arthala is currently undergoing treatment here, they said.
The third patient from Ghaziabad, a 65-year-old man, tested positive in a private hospital in Delhi and is undergoing treatment there. The administration has sealed the society and is carrying out disinfection drives.
The fourth patient has been identified as the wife of a Covid positive 85-year-old man from Kaushambi.
Meanwhile, 22 patients were discharged from hospitals. Of these, seven are from Khoda. So far 28 cases have been reported from this area.
With this, the number of recovered patients has gone up to 155 and there are 34 active cases.
