Dhari artist expresses gratitude

Rajkot: In order to express his gratitude to the triumvirate of Amreli district — collector Ayush Oak, superintendent of police Nirlipt Rai and district development officer Tejas Parmar — an artist from Rajkot has made their sketches and uploaded them on Facebook.
“This trinity has worked day and night in the fight against coronavirus. I wanted to thank them.
Garlanding someone with flowers or draping them with shawl are the usual ways of expressing gratitude. Since I am an artist, I thought of making their sketches and uploading them on Facebook to say a big thank you to them,” says Hitesh Vanara.
Vanara, who hails from Dhari and works as a lecturer in a private college of Rajkot, has written in his post with the sketches: “Someone please convey these sketches to these gentlemen.”
“Ayush Oak, Nirlipt Rai and Tejas Parmar are working round-the-clock in their fight against Covid-19. They should be felicitated for their services. What better way could have been for an artist like me than to draw their sketches in their honour,” adds Vanara.
