Salem-Chennai flight services to resume on May 27

SALEM: TruJet, which is the only airline operating flights between Chennai and Salem, will resume its services on May 27 with changed timings.
As per the new timings, the flight will start from Chennai at 7.25am and reach Salem at 8.25am. After a gap of 25 minutes, the flight will leave for Chennai at 8.50am and reach there at 9.50am.
Earlier, the flight used to depart from Chennai airport at 9.50am and reached Salem by 10.30am.It left for Chennai at 11.25am and reached there at 12.25pm.
“The airline has changed the timings based on customers repeated requests,” an airport official said, adding that bookings had started on www.trujet.com website.
