Prashant Kumar to take over as new ADG (LO)

LUCKNOW: UP government transferred nine IPS officers, including additional director general, law and order, PV Ramasastry, on Tuesday.
Prashant Kumar-I, who was posted as ADG Meerut zone, is new ADG law and order. Ramasastry has been promoted and posted as acting DG vigilance.
Rajeev Sabharwal, who was ADG-in waiting, is new ADG, Meerut zone.
In other important reshuffle, ADG (Women Powerline 1090) Anju Gupta has been transferred to PTS Meerut in the same capacity. Neera Rawat, who was ADG-in waiting, has replaced Gupta.
LV Anthony Dev Kumar is new ADG, CB-CID. Kumar was ADG (personnel) has been replaced by Deepesh Juneja who was posted as ADG (security). IG, Lucknow Range, SK Bhagat, has been made secretary in the home department while Laxmi Singh, IG PTS, Meerut has been made the new IG, Lucknow range. ADG PAC, VK Singh, has been given the additional charge of ADG security.
