Uttar Pradesh: Woman, her two sons killed, four others injured in road mishap at Etawah

A 45-year-old woman and her two sons died while four others, including her husband and two daughters, injured in a road accident at Parsupura village under Bakewar police station area in Etawah on national highway in the early hours of Wednesday.

KANPUR: A 45-year-old woman and her two sons died while four others, including her husband and two daughters, injured in a road accident at Parsupura village under Bakewar police station area in Etawah on national highway in the early hours of Wednesday.
According to police, the incident took place when the SUV in which they travelling in rammed into a truck. The woman along with her family members was travelling to her native place at Dharna Ninawan village in Kasganj to solemnise her elder daughter Arti's marriage scheduled for the second week of June.
The deceased were identified as Rekha, and her two sons - Pankaj (18) and Bunty (13).

Rekhas' husband -Rajaram Rajput is a cloth vendor and lives with family in Rajnand town of Chhatisgarh. Police said the woman’s husband, and their two daughters, besides SUV driver, who sustained serious injury have been admitted to a hospital.
The cops added that couples daughter Arti was to be married on June 12. Their family members from the paternal side in Kasganj, have been informed.
Local villagers rushed to the accident spot along with the police and took the victims to a hospital.
