Woman, two sons killed in accident in Etawah

A 45-year-old woman and her two sons died in a road mishap that left four others including her husband and their two daughters, besides SUV driver, injured. According to police, the incident took place at Parsupura village in Bakewar police area on National Highway in the early hours of Wednesday, when their four-wheeler rammed into a truck.

KANPUR: A 45-year-old woman and her two sons died in a road mishap that left four others including her husband and their two daughters, besides SUV driver, injured. According to police, the incident took place at Parsupura village in Bakewar police area on National Highway in the early hours of Wednesday, when their four-wheeler rammed into a truck.
The woman, identified as Rekha, and her two sons, Pankaj (18) and Bunty (13), were travelling with their family to their native place in Dharna Ninawan village in Kasganj, to solemnise her elder daughter Arti's marriage scheduled for second week of June.

Rekha's husband -Rajaram Rajput is a cloth vendor and lives with family in Rajnand town of Chhatisgarh. Police said the woman’s husband, and their two daughters, besides SUV driver, who sustained serious wounds have been admitted to hospital.
Police added that the couple's daughter Arti was to be married on June 12. Their family members from paternal side in Kasganj, have been informed.
Police said local villagers rushed to the accident spot along with police and took the victims to a hospital.
