Ravi Mohan Saini of KBC Junior who won Rs 1 crore in 2001 is SP of Porbandar now

Ravi Mohan Saini, who had participated in Kaun Banega Crorepati Junior held in the year 2001, is now an IPS officer. Ravi was 14-year-old and in 10th standard then. Saini was selected for the Indian Police Service (IPS) and posted in Gujarat. He was serving as the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Rajkot and given the charge of Porbandar a few days ago. Previously in an interview with the Times of India, Saini had said that he had received the money four years later as the rules of the show dictate that participants shall get the money only when they turn 18. He also said that he had received around Rs 69 lakh after deduction of taxes.
