Bengaluruean kids can learn to sketch their favourite cartoon characters

Cartoons have been an integral part of our childhood. We all have our own favourite characters too, that we still miss and talk about. Bengalureans can now learn the concepts of cartoon character sketching with the BAFA artisan in the three-module online workshop. You will learn to sketch and conceptualize art, illustrations, comics, manga, Disney and other styles of cartoons.Things you will require during the course: laptop / desktop / phone / tablet access along with good internet connection.The link to the class will be shared once you enroll for the course. You will also require drawing sheets, pens (ball pen, gel pen, colour pens) and pencils along with an eraser and a sharpener.
The workshop will begin with discussing details about the cartoon characters that have already been created, to understand the process of creating them. Participants will learn the workflow and practical application of cartoon characters. They will also learn the base sketching to get the face, hair, expression, body figure accurately as per their imagination.
This event will be held online, from June 2 to June 4, with a total of three sessions. These will be held from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm and will be hosted by the tutor for these sessions, Tapan. Animation has been one of Tapan’s favourite art styles, as it allows him to create new characters as per his imagination and share it with the world.
