Brussels, May 31 (RHC)-- In Brussels, the European Commission has unveiled a coronavirus aid package worth over $820 billion.  The plan, which needs the unanimous support of all 27 European member nations, would speed investments in green industries like renewable energy as part of Europe’s “Green Deal” initiative.

Meanwhile, Spain has begun 10 days of national mourning for victims of the coronavirus pandemic.  So far, more than 27,000 people have died of COVID-19 in Spain.
