The advisory opinion of the European Court of Human Rights on the case of Armenian ex-president Robert Kocharyan confirms the legality of the judicial actions taken against him, said Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan Monday at the parliament.

According to him, the ECHR's opinion is a clear confirmation of the position of the Prosecutor General’s Office that these issues should be considered by the court of the first instance, and not by the European Court or even the Constitutional Court of the republic.
