HYDERABAD: A man who suffered a heart attack and was driving the car on the wrong side of the road in Nalgonda was rushed to the hospital in time by a
traffic constable.
The traffic constable, Hafeez was on duty at the clock tower in Nalgonda town. He noticed a car being driven on the wrong side of the road and stopped the driver and questioned him. The driver told him he was working for a travels company in Chennai and was driving from Hyderabad.
When he reached Chityala, he said he suffered discomfort in his chest.
Asking the driver to sit beside him in the car, the constable sat at the steering and drove the car to the nearest hospital. Doctors at the Suraksha hospital informed that the driver had suffered a heart attack and needed better medical care. The driver was transported to Hyderabad.
“The constable displayed a great presence of mind while speaking to a person driving on the wrong route. He has saved his life by taking him to the hospital in time,” said Nalgonda SP AV
