UP: 'Real' Anamika Shukla lodges FIR against unidentified persons for misusing her academic records

Anamika in her statement to the BSA Gonda has stated that-she had applied for the job of science teacher in KGBV in five districts – Sultanpur, Jaunpur, Lucknow, Basti and Mirzapur - in 2017 but never appeared for the counselling for final selection.

Real Anamika Shukla, the science teacher who surfaced on June, 9 in Gonda, lodged an FIR against unidentified persons on Thursday for misusing her academic records.
LUCKNOW: Real Anamika Shukla, the science teacher who surfaced on June, 9 in Gonda, lodged an FIR against unidentified persons on Thursday for misusing her academic records and obtaining jobs in as many as 25 KGB Vidyalayas simultaneously across the state.
TOI was the first to expose the racket in which one “Anamika Shukla” had earned Rs 1 crore in 13 months, by working simultaneously in 25 government schools.

The FIR was registered after Basic Shiksha Adhikari-Indrajeet Prajapati, verified all the documents of Anamika Shukla, said the police.
As per the records, Anamika had pursued classes- X, XII, and BSc also from Gonda and then did BEd from Ambedkarnagar district. Later, in 2015, she qualified for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher’s Eligibility Test (UPTET), the police said.

Superintendent of police, Gonda, Raj Nayyar, told TOI that Anamika has first lodged a complaint about her education related documents being misused on government’s portal-IGRS.

“Later, a probe was done by the BSA who verified her documents and then an FIR was lodged on Thursday,” he said.
The officer said that Anamika claimed in the FIR that she got to know about the forgery of her academic documents through media reports.
On the basis of which an FIR under the charges of dishonesty, cheating by impersonation, forgery of valuable security, forgery for purpose of cheating, using as genuine a forged document was lodged at Kotwali police station of Gonda district.
