    Hotels are not designed to be hospitals: Jean-Michel Cassé, COO, Accor

    Delhi has asked Accor’s Pullman hotel, others to admit Covid patients with the numbers rising.

    NEW DELHI: Jean-Michel Cassé, chief operating officer for India and South Asia at Europe’s largest hospitality chain Accor, said hotels aren’t designed to be hospitals and staff members are not prepared to deal with the utilisation of properties for accommodating Covid-19 patients. Cassé’s comments follow the Delhi government’s orders on Friday requisitioning Accor’s Pullman hotel and others with immediate effect for admitting more Covid-19
