Telangana BJP urges Covid-19 tests in Secunderabad Cantt area too

HYDERABAD: The Secunderabad Cantonment Board has to conduct Covid-19 tests in the Cantt area, on the lines of the Telangana government, which will conduct tests to the residents in Hyderabad district assembly constituencies, Telangana BJP leaders said on Wednesday.
A delegation led by the MLC and Hyderabad city BJP chief, Ramchander Rao on Wednesday met the SCB chief executive officer, SVR Chandra Sekar and put a demand regarding coronavirus tests to be conducted at Bollarum General Hospital and SCB’s dispensaries free of cost.The delegation met in view of Covid-19 cases steadily increasing in the Cantt area.
Chandra Sekar, who responded to their demand and assured that there is no objection to conducting tests, but the Central government has to take a final decision.
