AIZAWL: A 4.1 magnitude
earthquake hit Mizoram on Wednesday morning, the fourth quake to rock the northeastern state in four consecutive days.
According to reports, no casualties have been reported from anywhere in the state so far.
"Earthquake of magnitude:4.1; Occurred on 24-06-2020, 08:02:36 IST, Lat: 23.18 & Long: 93.25," the National Centre for Seismology tweeted.
The depth of the quake was 10 km and the epicentre was 31 km SSW of Champhai, Mizoram, it said.
Three earthquakes struck Mizoram on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday causing damage to houses and cracks on roads at several places and prompting the government to sound a rain and landslide alert.
