Exclusive! “ Krrish is a manifestation of the superhero in all of us,” says Hrithik Roshan on 14 years of ‘Krrish’

Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Krrish’ turns 14 since its successful release in 2006. Originally a sequel to ‘Koi…Mil Gaya’ which came out in 2003, Krrish became one of the biggest hits of the year. On this occasion, fans took to Twitter to celebrate the same with #KrrishTurns14 and #14YearsOfKrrish.

When we asked Hrithik Roshan for his reaction on fans trending the hashtags on Twitter, he informed Etimes, "It feels great each time I hear this.For me, Krrish is a manifestation of the superhero in all of us. And he was made by every single hand that contributed to the film and to the journey.”
Talking about his experience while filming for ‘Krrish’, Hrithik further added, "It has been years and years of hard work of so many people. Even if one thing had fell out of place, we wouldn’t be able to make this larger than life character what he is to the audience today. So, I have immense gratitude for each and every person involved in the making of Krrish.”

Marking the milestone, a Twitter user wrote,” India’s most successful superhero turns 14 today! It’s the best Indian superhero film ever! #KrrishTurns14 #14YearsOfKrrish.”

Directed, written, and produced by Rakesh Roshan, ‘Krrish’ featured a multi-star cast, including Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Rekha, Naseeruddin Shah, and Priti Zinta in the lead roles. It was one of the biggest hits of the year and was the second installment in the ‘Krrish’ series followed by ‘Krrish 3’ in 2013.
