Second expansion of Madhya Pradesh cabinet soon, says MP CM

After the initial ‘mini’ expansion of the cabinet that had taken place on April 21 with the induction of five ministers, nearly a month after Shivraj Singh Chouhan was sworn-in as the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh for a record fourth term, the second expansion of the state cabinet is likely to take place soon, said Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday, June 24. “The expansion of the cabinet will take place soon,” said Chouhan in a statement.

“We had a detailed discussion on all aspects. Now another round of talks will be held in Delhi and soon the cabinet will be expanded,” the state Chief Minister said.

An important meeting between him, state BJP unit president (VD Sharma) and state organisation general secretary (Suhas Bhagat) took place on Wednesday, June 24, regarding the issue.
