Telangana: 2 students crushed to death by speeding truck
Two polytechnic students died on the spot after their two-wheeler was knocked down by a speeding lorry on Wednesday evening in Mancherial district.

HYDERABAD: Two polytechnic students died on the spot after their two-wheeler was knocked down by a speeding lorry on Wednesday evening in Mancherial district.
Police said the duo was not wearing helmets and sustained severe head injuries. Truck driver Nagarjuna Goud (40) was arrested on Thursday by Chennur police.
The deceased were identified as Pawan Kumar (20) and Sai Teja (21), both residents of Chennur town in Mancherial district.
The duo was heading towards Mancherial town from their home. “The sand-laden lorry tried to overtake the scooter and hit them from behind,” said a Chennur police official. The lorry driver was booked under section 304-A (causing death by negligence) of the IPC.
