LUCKNOW: As many as twenty-three bus terminals in
Uttar Pradesh will be developed as world class through Public Private Partnership (PPP).
State government has invited bids for 17 of the sites identified for development of bus terminals cum commercial complex. Sites include
Gomtinagar (
Vibhuti Khand); Charbagh and Amausi in Lucknow.
The other bus terminals have been identified at Gorakhpur;
Mathura (Old), Jhakarkati, Kanpur; Sahibabad; Idgah, Agra; Sohrabgate, Meerut; Civil lines and Zero road depot, Prayagraj; Ghaziabad; Transport nagar, Agra; Rasulabad, Aligarh; Kaushambi, Ghaziabad; Varanasi Cantt and
Agra Fort, Agra.
A webinar was organised by UPSRTC to reach out to prospective bidders.
The webinar had about 45 participants.
