In a first, Class 10 and 12 results declared from Lucknow instead of Prayagraj

LUCKNOW: For the first time since its inception 57 years ago, UP Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad announced the results of both class 10 and 12 of UP Board examinations from Lucknow.
So far, the director of the Parishad had been declaring results from its headquarters in Allahabad (now Prayagraj). The only exceptions were in early 2000s when result of one of the two classes was announced from Lucknow and the other from Prayagraj.Officials said it was also for the first time that a secondary education minister has announced results.
