DHSE Kerala SSLC Result 2020 declared at keralaresults.nic.in, results.itschool.gov.in and Saphalam app

DHSE Kerala SSLC 10th Result 2020: The Department of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) Kerala declared the SSLC exams results on June 30 at 2 pm. The SSLC result can be checked at kerala.gov.in, keralaresults.nic.in, results.itschool.gov.in, cdit.org, prd.kerala.gov.in, results.nic.in, educationkerala.gov.in. This year, the pass percentage stands at 98.82 per cent which is highest in the last five years. A total of 41,906 students have got A+ in all subjects. Among districts, Pathanamthitta district has scored the highest pass percentage while Wayanad has registered the lowest. As many as 1837 schools scored 100 per cent of which 637 are government schools.

The SSLC exams were initially scheduled to be held from March 10 till March 26. However, the exams were postponed midway due to Covid-19 induced lockdown and the pending physics, chemistry, and mathematics exams were later conducted towards the end of May under proper social distancing guidance.

As per reports, over 4 lakh candidates had appeared in the state SSLC exams, who claimed it was a different experience altogether. The 2,945 centres across the state were disinfected and students underwent thermal screening at the entry point and were not allowed to exchange pens and other instruments with others.

Those with mild flu-like symptoms were seated in a separate room and a sanitised corridor was also prepared at examination centres.

Kerala SSLC results 2020: When and where to check results

The result of these exams will be released in a while now. Students can check the result on the board’s official website – keralaresults.nic.in. The results will also be available on various other websites – kerala.gov.in, keralaresults.nic.in, results.itschool.gov.in, cdit.org, prd.kerala.gov.in, results.nic.in, educationkerala.gov.in.

The results will also be available at their the education board’s official app Saphalam which is available on Google Play. In 2019, a total of 4,31,762 students had qualified for the exams and the overall pass percentage recorded at 97.84, which was nearly 2 per cent higher than the previous year’s 95.98.

Students will have to obtain at least a minimum of 35 per cent marks in each subject. This means for 100 marks exam, at least 35 marks will be needed. For subjects having different exams for practical and theory, students will have to pass both sections separately. Those who clear SSLC will have to register for class 11 and pursue streams of choice.

Last year, as many as 98.11 per cent students passed the exam. While the best performance was delivered by Pathanamthitta district last year with 99.33 per cent of students clearing the exam, Wayanad district had the lowest pass percentage of 93.22 per cent.
