Amazon has expanded its pantry services in India. The e-commerce platform now offers grocery delivery service in more than 300 cities across the country. These include the cities of Allahabad, Amreli, Bareilly, Betul, Bhopal, Bundi, Bhandara, Churu, Deogarh, Gonda, Jammu, Jhansi, Kathua, Kozhikode, Malda, Moradabad, Nainital, Pathankot, Rajkot, Shimla, Udaipur and Varanasi.
With the latest expansion, Amazon Pantry will be offered across more than 10,000 pin codes.
Recently, towns like Bharatpur in Rajasthan, Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh, Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh, Fatehabad in Haryana and Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh among others were added to help customers order groceries online.
Buyers can order grocery and everyday essentials with savings of up to 35% via the Amazon Pantry. Select cities customers can also choose to schedule their Pantry delivery as per their convenience. These cities include Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Pune.
Recently, the company launched its new ‘school from home’ store on its platform. The store launch was announced via its Twitter handle. “Get ready to set up your school from home, with everything you need for your new beginning. #ApniDukaan. Amazon.in school from home, everything for a new beginning”Amazon India tweeted.
Amazon ‘school from home’ store is live on the Amazon India website. It lists the items that students would need while studying from home and offers a wide range of products. These include writing essentials, stationery, tablets, laptops, PCS, speakers, headphones, printer, and also home furnishing.
