Delhi: Cop thrashed for asking men to wear masks

NEW DELHI: A Delhi Police constable was thrashed by three men in north Delhi’s Civil Lines after he asked them to wear masks and not spit in the area.
The officer was patrolling in Civil Lines on Wednesday when he saw three men roaming around and spitting at random places. The constable asked the men to wear a mask, following which an altercation ensued and the trio thrashed him. When the constable called for reinforcement, the men misbehaved with the other officers too.
The accused, who were in an inebriated state, were identified as Jitender, Abhishek and Kuldeep.
