BHUBANESWAR: Congress legislature party (CLP) leader
Narasingha Mishra on Thursday urged chief minister Naveen Patnaik to convene a session of the state assembly by the third week of August to discuss various issues pertaining to the states, including the Covid-19 pandemic, and other related matters.
In a letter to the chief minister, Mishra said when the previous session of the state assembly was adjourned mid-March, the members were assured that the House would be convened at an early date.
The Congress veteran raised concerns about the growing unemployment problem.
